BEYOND THE CLASSROOM WINDOW

ACTION ACTIVITY:             Industrial Technology – Construction

Research indicates that the bond that exists between the student and the teacher is directly proportional to the students’ willingness to absorb information presented.  Understanding this concept, the learning strategy called “Beyond The Classroom Window” utilizes action activities designed to promote, enhance or reinforce this bond.  Proper preparation and application of this strategy creates an atmosphere of “family.”  Discipline problems are replaced with a desire for learning adventure.  Photo: Coulterville Industrial Technology students standing with Astronaut Fred Haise- Trip to Biloxi, Mississippi to help with flood repairs (March, 2006).
